⁠Ancora Nexus: ancorasoftware/nexus3

This is a customized sonatype/nexus3 image⁠ used by Ancora DevOps.

⁠Using this image

This image can be launched as follows:

docker run --name <your-container-name> -d -p 8081:8081 -e LDAP_ENABLED=false ancorasofware/nexus3:VERSION

⁠Volumes

This image stores data in the /nexus-data directory. That should be made an explicit volume so that it can be managed and attached to another container for backup and upgrades:

docker run --name <your-container-name> -d -v $(pwd)/nexus-data:/nexus-data -p 8081:8081 -e LDAP_ENABLED=false ancorasoftware/nexus3:VERSION

⁠Configration

This image is preinstalled with Anton Sharapov's fork of nexus-casc-plugin⁠ which allows for nearly all aspects of the Nexus instance to be configured through YAML. In addition to configuration suppported by the base image, this image supports following environment variables:

The file default-nexus.yaml⁠ contains an example CasC configuration.

This image is based on the official sonatype/nexus3 image⁠ by sonatype⁠ which is licensed under the Apache license⁠.

⁠nexus-casc-plugin plugin

This image incorporates Anton Sharapov's fork of the nexus-casc-plugin⁠ (originally authored by Sven Tschui⁠) which is licensed under the MIT license⁠.
