antergos/archlinux-systemd repository overview

Image is based on antergos/archlinux-base-devel

To create an image that you can use to run an application capable of being managed by systemd:

Example Dockerfile for Apache

FROM antergos/archlinux-systemd
RUN pacman -S --noconfirm httpd; pacman -Sc --noconfirm; systemctl enable httpd.service
EXPOSE 80
CMD ["/usr/sbin/init"]

Save the Dockerfile in an empty directory from which run:

docker build -t arch-httpd .

Now start the container:

docker run --privileged -ti -v /sys/fs/cgroup:/sys/fs/cgroup:ro -p 80:80 arch-httpd

These instructions are from this blog post (thank him!):
