⁠AIDA (https://github.com/yago-naga/aida#setting-up-the-entity-repository⁠)

AIDA is the named entity disambiguation system created by the Databases and Information Systems Department at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbücken, Germany. It identifies mentions of named entities (persons, organizations, locations, songs, products, ...) in English language text and links them to a unique identifier. Most names are ambiguous, especially family names, and AIDA resolves this ambiguity. ⁠How to Run

⁠Setup the disambiguation database

First, you need to setup a Postgres Database with the YAGO disambiguation database. To do so, refers to the author guide : https://github.com/yago-naga/aida#setting-up-the-entity-repository⁠. You can also create a Postgres container and restore the database inside it.

⁠Run the container

⁠Using docker-compose

You can run the service using a docker-compose.yml file. You must restore the database into the Postgres container in order to AIDA to work.
