Benefits of docker instead default installation:

• save a lot of memory
• it will isolate the projects
• fast replicate

⁠Pre-requisites

• install docker sysbox: https://github.com/nestybox/sysbox⁠ Easy Instructions to do this: https://github.com/antonio24073/aapanel-ubuntu-22-04-sysbox/blob/main/docs/sysbox-installation.md⁠
• or build your own image removing the sysbox from Dockerfile and docker-compose.yml

⁠Tags

• ubuntu 22.04 sysbox

• centos-7 (DEPRECATED)

• centos-7-preinstalled (example of image with installed apps) (DEPRECATED)

⁠Testing

If you run without a Dockerfile to update or commited image, it maybe stay slow to initialize, even with the fixes.

docker run -d -p 7800:7800 -p 221:21 -p 222:22 -p 443:443 -p 80:80 -p 888:888 --runtime=sysbox-runc --name=aapanel  antonio24073/aapanel:ubuntu-22-04-sysbox-apache

Note: maybe it will be necessary to restart panel with bt 1 in the command line.

IMPORTANT: this will not persist the changes in the container. It's for testing porpouses.

⁠Configuring:

Change your user name and password:

docker exec -it aapanel bt

⁠Access

Get your access information with this command:

docker exec -it aapanel bt 14

You can access in your localhost replacing your base url like this: http://0.0.0.0:7800/keep-this

⁠Ports:

Control Panel : 7800:7800 (external:internal)

Phpmyadmin : 888:888

HTTP : 80:80

HTTPS : 443:443

SSH : 222:22

FTP : 221:21

⁠Add your site domain in localhost

In the host machine put this in your /etc/hosts with a text editor:

0.0.0.0 your-domain.local

0.0.0.0 your-domain.com

If you put internet domains like .com, do not forget to delete this after, to access this domain in the internet.

⁠Persist Directories

I recommend to start your clean image, install all tools that you want, commit your container and run with these persistent folders:

Official doc:

• Website data : /www/wwwroot
• Mysql data : /www/server/data
• Vhost file : /www/server/panel/vhost
