CA Manager Demo is a self-contained Docker image for evaluating CA Manager in lab, training, and non-critical demo environments.
The image runs CA Manager in production mode with a bundled MySQL 8 database. On first startup, it initializes the schema, creates a demo administrator, and preloads an Acme Corp lab PKI inventory so the UI is ready to explore immediately.

Email: [email protected]
Password: ChangeMe!8585
Override these on first run with CA_MANAGER_DEMO_ADMIN_EMAIL, CA_MANAGER_DEMO_ADMIN_PASSWORD, and CA_MANAGER_DEMO_ADMIN_NAME.
For plain http://localhost:8585 demos, keep SESSION_COOKIE_SECURE=false so the browser can store the login session cookie. Use true only when serving the demo through HTTPS.

Run with Compose:
docker compose up -d
By default, the image seeds an Acme Corp lab PKI with:
Acme Corp Lab Root CA G1Acme Corp Lab Issuing CA G1api.dev.acme.comportal.lab.acme.comvault.ops.acme.comacme-lab-automation-clientvpn-user01.acme.com[email protected]Acme Lab Build SigningDisable demo data on first run:
-e CA_MANAGER_DEMO_SEED=false
For Docker Compose:
environment:
CA_MANAGER_DEMO_SEED: "false"
The demo administrator and Acme Corp inventory are created only when the MySQL volume is initialized for the first time. If you pull a newer image or change the demo admin environment variables, reset the volume to apply first-run changes.
docker rm -f ca-manager-demo
docker volume rm ca-manager-demo-data
Then run the container again.
For Docker Compose:
docker compose down -v
docker compose up -d
