Open edX is an open source MOOC platform that powers www.edx.org⁠ and hundreds of other online learning sites around the world.

This image provides both the LMS (course delivery platform), CMS (Studio for authoring courses) and forum only. It was created using Appsembler's fork⁠ of the edX's configuration repo⁠ and is similar to their Devstack release⁠ - basically a stripped down release of the full edX application.

The image was provisioned using the Ansible scripts as described here⁠. Using a Dockerfile and trusted builds is not possible at this time because of the limitations of the init system inside the image and ansible script requirements.

This image is beta quality and is not recommended for production use!
