apx65/wings-pegasus repository overview

This is an experiment aimed to create container with WINGS⁠, Pegasus WMS⁠ and HTCondor⁠, configured for combined workflow execution. It contains WINGS compiled from source code and integrated with Pegasus according to instructions⁠. Later image will be supplied with descriptive Dockerfile and up-to-date software.

⁠How to use this container

Example run:

docker run -h condor.docker.com -d -p 8080:8080 apx65/wings-pegasus

Than you can access Wings at http://localhost:8080/wings-portal/ and begin your work. Wings admin user is wings, password is wroot.

If you ever need to work directly with Pegasus, you can connect to container bash docker exec -it <name> /bin/bash and switch from root to user myuser with password my. HTCondor doesn't allow root to submit jobs for security reasons.

  • Multi-stage build is used to reduce compressed image size by half
