** Note: ** if using Windows change $(pwd) to full path of your selected directory to be mounted as a shared volume. You might need to escape the windows backslash of the path. eg. C:\\path\\to\\shared\\workspace . Avoid using spaces to create your workspace subdirectory.

/home/aqua/data to mount data that you want to have available for the notebook/home/aqua/workspace/notebooks to keep your notebooks. DEPRECIATED/home/aqua/workspace/git to mount your git directory and make it available for the notebook.The container ipython_config.py was preloaded with c.InteractiveShellApp.exec_lines = ['import sys; sys.path.append('/home/aqua/workspace/git/')
docker run -i -t -v $HOME/data:/home/aqua/data -v $(pwd):/home/aqua/workspace/notebooks --name jupyter -p 8889:8889 aquabiota/notebook-r jupyter notebook --ip='*' --port=8889 --no-browser
** Then copy the random generated token and use it to login.** Open your browser and go to: http://localhost:8888
