⁠User

The ASWG Docker image uses user with UID:GID 1001:1001.

It is required to run the image with user having same UID:GID on the docker host.

chown the generated aswg_docker by user 1001:1001 including all children directories: sudo chown 1001:1001 -R aswg_docker

root user can also be used but it is not recommended. You can switch the user in docker-compose.yml file to "0:0" to use the root user without the need to chown the generated directory.

⁠Running

To persist server data and to easily edit the ASWG configuration file you can mount these volumes:

• /aswg/arma-server - the actual arma server
• /aswg/config - the configuration file
• /aswg/data - the aswg database

docker run --name=arma-server-web-gui -p 2302:2302 -v data:/aswg/data -v arma-server:/aswg/arma-server -v config:/aswg/config -d aquerr/arma-server-web-gui

⁠IMPORTANT

ASWG may fail on first run as it may not have access to configured volume. See User⁠ section.

chown the generated aswg_docker including all children directories and restart the container. sudo chown 1001:1001 -R aswg_docker
