⁠Docker Container for IHC Captain

This is a Docker image for running IHC Captain created by Mikkel Skovgaard, see http://jemi.dk/ihc/⁠

Run Directly:

    docker run -d \
           --name ihccaptain \
           -p 8100:80 \
           -p 9100:443 \
           arberg/ihccaptain

Access the IHC Captain web from http://localhost:8100/⁠

⁠Data Volume

To avoid losing your data, a host-mounted data volume is required for '/opt/ihccaptain/data/'. The './data' need to be replaced by absolute path.

docker run -d \
           --name ihccaptain \
           -p 8100:80 \
           -p 9100:443 \
           -v "./data:/opt/ihccaptain/data/" \
           arberg/ihccaptain

The repository contains a run.sh command.

⁠SSL Security Issue of this docker image

Please note that this image contains a pregenerated private key for the SSL server. Since the key is published in the image its publicly available for all. It would be a security issue, if the root-certificate was imported into browser as trusted certificate, as that would make you vulnerable to exploits by the private key. A new certificate can (probably) be generated with /opt/ihccaptain/installer/create_ssl.
