⁠Sox_ng Docker Image

Fully-featured sox_ng⁠ Docker image builds, bundled with wide range of audio codecs. Also, FFmpeg support is bundled in. This image is designed to support most common (and uncommon) audio formats out of the box — which explains the larger image size.

⁠🔧 Purpose

Built for my personal audio processing needs, but open for anyone to use. I saw that this was not built by anyone, so I decided to make this.

The source repository automatically checks for new releases, and if found, builds and tags the new images accordingly.

⁠🚀 Example Usage

docker run --rm -v "$(pwd)":/audio ardakilic/sox_ng:latest input.wav output.mp3

FFmpeg and FFProbe are also bundled in the image for more format support, and you can call ffmpeg like this:

docker run --rm --entrypoint ffmpeg -v "$(pwd)":/audio ardakilic/sox_ng:latest --help

docker run --rm --entrypoint ffprobe -v "$(pwd)":/audio ardakilic/sox_ng:latest --help
