Measure. Benchmark. Understand.
BuckPow is an open-source, self-hosted energy observability and benchmarking platform for low-power edge devices.
Unlike traditional IoT dashboards that focus only on live telemetry, BuckPow helps developers, makers, and researchers measure, record, and compare energy consumption across experiments. Whether you are benchmarking a Raspberry Pi, optimizing ESP32 firmware, evaluating a small solar panel, or profiling TinyML workloads, BuckPow turns measurements into actionable engineering insights.
The recommended deployment method is Docker Compose.
git clone https://github.com/arifnd/buckpow.git
cd buckpow
docker compose up -d
BuckPow will start together with PostgreSQL and Nginx.
To configure production settings, create a .env file:
APP_ENV=production
JWT_SECRET=your-strong-secret-key
DATABASE_URL=postgresql://buckpow:buckpow@db:5432/buckpow
[email protected]
ADMIN_PASSWORD=your-secure-password
DISABLE_API_DOCS=true
Restart the services after updating the configuration.
docker compose down
docker compose up -d
