pv-provisioner
This service automatically provisions Persistent Volumes inside K8s from the pre-allocated snapshots with defined tags
How does it work?
- You create
PersistentVolumeClaim with empty storageClass (to disable Dynamic Provisioning
- pv-provisioner detects PVC and tracks
app:value tag on the snapshots available
- pv-provisioner searches for the most actual snapshot correctly labelled with
app:value tag
- pv-provisioner creates new Disk/Volume
- pv-provisioner creates new PersistentVolume with required params
- PVC use created PV
Usage
pv-provisioner -cloud <cloud>
