Run with: docker run -it --rm --privileged -e DISPLAY -v /tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix -v /lib/modules:/lib/modules asbmails2/mininet_ryu
Use withou --rm to not delete the container
To use the controller: PYTHONLIB=. ryu-manager ryu.app.simple_switch_stp_13 ---- to use the spanning tree algorithm to avoid cycles.
Inside of your mininet py script add:
from functools import partial from mininet.node import RemoteController, OVSSwitch
net = Mininet(controller=RemoteController,
switch=partial( OVSSwitch, protocols='OpenFlow13’))
