Note: DockerforWindows must be switched from running linux containers to windows containers

Pull the image using the command:

docker pull ashvithswamy0/alvaautomationtool:firstimage

run the image using the command:

docker run -it --name alva -v C:\alva-automation\GitClone:C:\alva-automation\GitClone -p 8080:8080 ashvithswamy0/alvaautomationtool:firstimage powershell

once inside the container, in powershell, To get the tomcat console, run the following:

[Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable("JRE_HOME","C:/Program Files/Java/jre1.8.0_221")

[Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable("JAVA_HOME","C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.8.0_221")

C:/tomcat/bin/tomcat9.exe stop

C:/tomcat/bin/catalina.bat run
