Croppix is a lightweight, URL‑driven image cropper and optimizer built on Node.js, Sharp and AWS Rekognition.

It fetches originals from S3, computes smart, AI‑aware crops around the main subject, resizes and optimizes images (WebP/JPEG), and stores the result in an S3 cache ready to be served via a CDN (e.g. CloudFront). Croppix is stateless, fast, and designed to run as a simple container behind your existing reverse proxy or ingress.
