⁠HomeKit for Homey Cloud

This project enables HomeKit support for Homey Cloud.

⁠Requirements

• A Homey Premium account.
• An always-on Linux (!) device in your HomeKit Home's LAN, that can run Docker, e.g. a Raspberry Pi 4.

⁠Set-up

⁠1. Set up Docker

If you haven't installed Docker yet, install it by running:

curl -sSL https://get.docker.com | sh
sudo usermod -aG docker $(whoami)
exit

...and log in your console again.

⁠2. Log in

Run in a console:

$ docker run -it --rm \
  --name homekit \
  --env PATH_USERDATA=/userdata \
  --volume ~/.homekit:/userdata \
  athombv/homekit:latest

Log in, paste the code and hit [Return].

⁠3. Start HomeKit

Then run:

$ docker run -d \
  --name homekit \
  --restart=unless-stopped \
  --env PATH_USERDATA=/userdata \
  --volume ~/.homekit:/userdata \
  --network=host \
  athombv/homekit:latest

⁠4. Pair with the iOS Home app

Finally, on your iPhone or iPad:

1. Open the Home app.
2. Tap Add Accessory.
3. Select Homey.
4. Enter the pincode found in step 2.

• Sync after Socket.io reconnection
