Glewlwyd is mostly developped by myself on my free time, with gracious help from users.

Nevertheless, it hasn't been audited or fully tested by external developpers.

Glewlwyd can take a central place in a system where applications and environments need authentication and authorization, be aware of the risks: bugs, non discovered vulnerabilities, etc.

I recommend not to use Glewlwyd in production, more likely to test OAuth2/OpenID behavior, MFA connections, or IdP in general. You can also explore its functionalities and help yourself with its source code for other implementations.

If you intend to use it in production, it's highly recommended to follow the documentation and enable only the features you will use.

⁠Overview

This docker image is related to the Last official Glewlwyd Release⁠ of the experimental SSO server and is updated every time a new version of Glewlwyd is released, not on each new commit.

If you want to build your own docker image based on the last commit or your own modified source, you can use the Docker Image Builder⁠ explained in the Glewlwyd Install Documentation.

⁠Run the docker image with minimal configuration on your local machine, only for testing.

$ docker run --rm -it -p 4593:4593 babelouest/glewlwyd

Then open the address http://localhost:4593/⁠ on your browser.

⁠Run the docker image using your configuration files

This will use the configuration files placed in the subfolder folder config⁠.

You can specify a different database, certificate files, external_url, UI settings, or any other configuration settings that will make this docker instance suitable for your needs.

$ docker run --rm -it -p 4593:4593 -v $(pwd)/config:/etc/glewlwyd babelouest/glewlwyd
