⁠NSFW image detection service

Checks image using Yahoo's NSFW model and returns NSFW (porn) score. Forked from https://github.com/mdietrichstein/tensorflow-open_nsfw⁠

Subscribes to Kafka topic and receives image check requests, downloads image, evaluates porn score and sends a response message back to the topic.

⁠Running locally

Make sure you have Python 3 Download all python dependencies:

pip3 install -r requirements.txt

Generate protobuf files:

bin/genproto.sh <blc-proto-imagecheck project path>

Run:

python3 main.py

⁠Configuration

Per-environment config files can be found in config directory. Either prod or dev config is used depending on environment variable blc_nsfw_env value (dev or prod)
