route53-ddns-client.sh from https://github.com/awslabs/route53-dynamic-dns-with-lambda

The reference client script from https://github.com/awslabs/route53-dynamic-dns-with-lambda packed up as a container. That link refers to a nice "Dynamic DNS system built with API Gateway, Lambda & Route 53", which I'm not affiliated with. They developed the service and script, I just packed it up for Docker.
Run like:
docker run --rm "bartvhdev/route53-ddns-client:373a366_$(arch)" \
--hostname "example-host.bartvh.nl" \
--secret "123123123" \
--api-key "KkKkKkKkKkK" \
--url "abcdefghijk.execute-api.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/prod" \
--ip-version "ipv4" \
--ip-source "public"
The tags in this repository reference the original git commit hash from which the script was copied. And yes, I know multiarch images are possible, but I haven't invested the time for this simple tool.
There is no public Git repo for this container, because the only source used to build this container is this simple Dockerfile:
FROM ubuntu:18.04
RUN apt-get update && apt-get --yes install curl jq
ARG tag
RUN curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/awslabs/route53-dynamic-dns-with-lambda/$tag/route53-ddns-client.sh > \
/opt/client.sh && chmod +x /opt/client.sh
ENTRYPOINT [ "/opt/client.sh" ]
And build.sh:
#!/bin/bash -e
tag="373a366"
fulltag="bartvhdev/route53-ddns-client:${tag}_$(arch)"
echo "$fulltag"
docker build --build-arg tag="$tag" -t "$fulltag" .
if [[ "$1" == "--push" ]]; then
docker push "$fulltag"
