A mission-critical microservice that orchestrates the order lifecycle. It integrates with HashiCorp Consul for service discovery to dynamically locate the users-svc and products-svc. When an order is placed, it validates inventory availability, calculates transaction totals, updates stock levels across services, and maintains a persistent history of all sales in a dedicated MySQL instance.
