⁠Linter Container

Several linters packaged into a handy container. TODO: Add more linters.

This is the source of the Docker image bayesimpact/docker-lint⁠.

⁠Usage

Mount the code to be linted into the container and run one of the linters from the commandline.

docker run --rm \
  -v `pwd`:/usr/app:ro \
  -v `pwd`/.proselintrc:/root/.proselintrc:ro \
  -it \
  docker-lint proselintjs '*.md'

⁠Alternatives

We previously experimented with Lint Condo⁠, but I struggled with their version of proselint and the configuration file. It would be worth to re-visit and contribute to their Docker in the future.

⁠Publishing the image

The public image on https://hub.docker.com/r/bayesimpact/docker-lint/⁠ gets updated automatically. You just have to edit the Dockerfile and push to github. Always have someone review your code before you push to master.
