Extension of official postgres image to include both pgxnclient and postgresql-X-pgtap.

The PGXN framework greatly simplifies the development and deployment of server-side extensions to the PostgreSQL server. You are no longer required to understand the server internals and implement the extension in C - you can install the pgxnclient and use a simplified API.
Typical uses for server-side extensions are:
and countless other tasks where it makes sense to perform the task on the database server itself for better performance, security, or data integrity.
This docker image contains the standard PostgreSQL docker image with the following packages pre-installed.
pgxnclientpostgresql-{{ version }}-pgtagIt is intended as a base image for PostgreSQL images using PGXN server extensions.
See the upstream image (/https://hub.docker.com/_/postgres) for configuration details.
You must use the following code snippet to use this image with recent versions of TestContainers.
PostgreSQLContainer getContainer() {
DockerImageName imageName = DockerImageName.parse("beargiles/postgres-pgxnclient:15.3").asCompatibleSubstituteFor("postgres");
PostgreSQLContainer db = new PostgreSQLContainer(ImageName);
db.withImagePullPolicy((s) -> false);
return db;
}
The withImagePull() provides hints on where to find the docker image. It's required on my dev machine but that may be specific to my system.
