bfancy/matrix-registration repository overview

(deprecated) matrix-registration based on alpine linux

official matrix-registration app installed via pip3.10 install matrix-registration on alpine linux.

the docker image contains the latest stable matrix-registration app - currently v0.9.1.post1.

the image contains curl, too. you may include it into your compose.yaml like so:

services:
  matrix-registration:
    image: bfancy/matrix-registration:vXXX
    healthcheck:
        test: ["CMD-SHELL", "curl -fSs http://localhost:5000/register >/dev/null 2>&1 || exit 1"]
        # or
        test: ["CMD-SHELL", "curl -IfSs http://localhost:5000/api/version 2>&1 | head -n 1 | egrep -q '401|200' || exit 1"]
        # if we set interval to e.g. 3m then the logfile will show this:
        # "flask-limiter - WARNING - ratelimit 100 per 1 day (127.0.0.1) exceeded at endpoint: api.register",
        # either put "rate_limit: ["1000 per day", "10 per minute"]" into your config.yaml or set interval to 15m:
        interval: 15m
        timeout: 5s
        retries: 3
        start_period: 30s
    restart: unless-stopped
    volumes:
      - ./host-data:/data
    ports:
      - "5000:5000"
    command: ["serve"]

directory ./host-data should at least contain the configuration file config.yaml.

also prefix all files therein with "/data/". some examples:

  • client_logo: '/data/element-logo.jpg'
  • db: 'sqlite:////data/db.sqlite3'
  • filename: /data/m_reg.log
