bflorat/build-mplayer repository overview

This build will be used by Jajuk project to provide the build-in mplayer binary. It targets as many 64 bits Linux distributions as possible, it's why we use a fairly old base image Ubuntu (14.04 LTS). This is a static binary to avoid any dynamic library requirement. We build with alsa and pulse-audio support. On some distributions, only pulse-audio should work due to missing alsa .so libraries but it is not an issue as pulseaudio is used as fallback option.

Only audio codecs are built to simplify and accelerate the build process and limit the binary size as much as possible.
