NOTICE: the 2.0.0-p247 tag has been removed due to the heartbleed issue. Use tag 2.0.0-p247-hb instead. Only the 2.0.0-p247 image was pre-heartbleed, so only that one has been resubmitted with the "-hb" suffix.

All images are provided "AS IS" under the terms of the Apache 2.0 license and have no warranty of any kind as being suitable for any purpose.

Tags:

• 2.1.2 - MRI 2.1.2 (p95, but the ruby-lang downloads leave the patch-level off)
• 2.0.0-p247-hb - MRI 2.0.0 patch-level 247 based on post-heartbleed official ubuntu:precise

All ruby images have ruby installed in /usr/local/bin so they should be in the default path.

Rubies were installed with ruby-install⁠, latest at the time of build. The ruby-install version can be determined by examining the docker-ruby repo's sample.env file contemporary with the image's build date.

Rubygems is updated to the latest at build time, and bundler and rake are installed. No other gems are provided in the image.
