Bitbucket Pipelines Pipe: uv CLI Setup
This pipe installs uv, so that it can be used as part of your Pipelines YAML configuration.
YAML Definition
Add the following snippet to the script section of your bitbucket-pipelines.yml file:
script:
- pipe: atlassian/uv-cli-setup:0.1.1
- ./setup-uv.sh
Variables
| Variable | Usage |
|---|---|
UV_HOME | Specify a directory where uv will be installed. If not specified, uv will be installed at /opt/uv. |
UV_VERSION | Specify a version of uv to install. If not specified, the latest version will be installed. |
Examples
Basic usage
script:
- pipe: atlassian/uv-cli-setup:0.1.1
- ./setup-uv.sh
- uv sync
- uv run pytest
Specifying a version for uv
script:
- pipe: atlassian/uv-cli-setup:0.1.1
- UV_VERSION=0.7.12 ./setup-uv.sh
- uv install
- uv run pytest
Configuring uv settings
script:
- pipe: atlassian/uv-cli-setup:0.1.1
- UV_HOME=/usr/local ./setup-uv.sh
- uv install
- uv run pytest
Caching uv and virtual environment
You can cache the uv CLI and the virtual environment to speed up your builds.
