⁠Instructions

• enable network access to pulseaudio with paprefs You might need to reboot the host. Check that pulseaudio server is running:

  # netstat -tunlp | grep pulseaudio
  tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:4713            0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      2631/pulseaudio 
  tcp6       0      0 :::4713                 :::*                    LISTEN      2631/pulseaudio 
  

  Copy
• add to ~/.ssh/config ( create if doesn't exist ):

Host mpsyoutube
     User      root
     Port      2222
     HostName  127.0.0.1
     RemoteForward 64713 localhost:4713
     ForwardX11 yes

• run the cotainer: docker run -d -p 127.0.0.1:2222:22 bitelxux/mps-youtube
• ssh root@mpsyoutube ( passw0rd )
• run mps-youtube
• mpv config can be changed at /root/.mpv/config

⁠Troubleshooting

Should you get urllib.request errors, just upgrade to the latest mps-youtube version:

pip3 install mps-youtube youtube-dl --upgrade
