⁠Bitcoin Core image using pre-built binaries

The Dockerfile⁠ uses and verifies the binaries downloaded from https://bitcoincore.org⁠.

⁠How to run

You can simply test the image by starting bitcoind with its default settings. The command exposes bitcoind's default RPC and P2P ports to your machine and to other containers (saves chain data in a Docker volume called data):

docker run -d  --name btc -p 8332:8332 -p 8333:8333 -v data:/root/.bitcoin blockstream/bitcoind:latest bitcoind -printtoconsole -prune=1000

If you want to provide your own bitcoin.conf, you can provide this additional flag, which bitcoind will recognize automatically:

-v $(pwd)/bitcoin.conf:/root/.bitcoin/bitcoin.conf

You can run: docker run --rm blockstream/bitcoind:latest bitcoind -help to get all of bitcoind's options.
