⁠Core Lightning (CLN) image

The Dockerfile⁠ compiles lightningd from source⁠.

⁠How to run

You can simply test the image by starting lightningd with its default settings, but you will need to provide CLN a Bitcoin node's RPC connection details at a minimum (default localhost:8332). See the example lightning.conf below. The command exposes lightningd's default connection port to your machine and to other containers (saves CLN state data in a Docker volume called data):

docker run -d  --name cln -p 9735:9735 -v $(pwd)/lightning.conf:/root/.lightning/bitcoin/lightning.conf -v data:/root/.lightning blockstream/lightningd:latest --mainnet

lightning.conf:

bitcoin-rpcconnect=localhost
bitcoin-rpcport=8332
bitcoin-rpcpassword=password
bitcoin-rpcuser=user

You can run docker run --rm blockstream/lightningd:latest without any flags to get all of lightningd's options.
