⁠Docker image for OpenStack Keystone

⁠Required environment variables

These env vars need to be set in order to launch keystone from this image:

• KS_ADMIN_TOKEN
• KS_DEBUG (e.g. True|False)
• KS_VERBOSE (e.g. True|False)
• KS_DB_CONNECTION (e.g. postgres://os_keystone:[email protected]⁠/os_keystone)
• KS_URL (e.g. http://keystone.service.binet:5000/v2.0⁠)
• KS_ADMIN_URL (e.g. http://keystone-admin.service.binet:35357/v2.0⁠)
• KS_REGION_NAME (e.g. dc1)
• KS_TENANT_NAME (e.g. admin)

In order to run the current one-off openstack setup commands you will also need these:

• KS_ADMIN_PASSWORD
• SWIFT_PASSWORD
• DISPERSION_PASSWORD
• SWIFT_URL (e.g. http://swift-proxy.service.binet:8080/v1/AUTH\_\%\(tenant_id\)s⁠")

⁠To run one-off openstack setup

To create users, roles, services, endpoints and so forth you can put more executable files in files/os-setup/, with a .in ending. These files will be run if you run the utility script /os-setup.sh. The files will go through ENV subsitution, i.e. $ENV[FOO_BAR] in file.in will be replaced by the value of the env var $FOO_BAR in the output file. The files are executed in the order returned by ls files/os-setup/*.

It is recommended to write such scripts in an idempotent way, i.e. check if the resource you are about to create exist, and only try to create it if not already present.
