⁠PHP FPM App

Containers created with this image serve as the back-end for phpbin/dbin applications. These containers are proxied to by the webserver only to run *.php scripts, they are not intended to serve any static content.

This image works as the baseline, in other words individual applications are expected to use this image in their FROM directive of Dockerfile.

Normally, applications do not need to do many modifications to the baseline. In most cases, it's enough to just copy application files somewhere into /var/www/html/.

The resulting images (i.e this baseline + app-specific modifications) are built by AWS CodePipeline and stored in AWS ECR.

⁠Environment Variables

SES_CREDENTIALS_SECRET is expected to be the name of the secret in AWS Secrets Manager that holds the values of all SMTP-related variables. You normally won't use it in your local environment.
