Pinebox is the base image upon which all other Brock Research images are built. Applications common to all images are moved from higher layer images an placed here in an effect to focus each Dockerfile on its specific purpose.

The image itself leverages the official Alpine Linux container image. To communicate each image's Alpine Version, the distribution's major and minor numbers used as its tag. Sysadmin tools that I used with regularity are added to built to ensure a consistent set of familiar tools available across containers.
