⁠BrowserSpy

HTTP reverse proxy that adds in the BrowserSpy recorder to your HTML pages

⁠Getting Started

This should be used if you are testing on a containerised environment or you do not wish to change the deployed artifacts between deployments (generally, this is a good idea⁠).

⁠Environment Variables

⁠Required

• BROWSERSPY_TOKEN: string - set the project token
• TARGET_URL: string - set the target URL being proxied

⁠Optional

• CHANGE_ORIGIN: boolean. Default: true - changes the origin of the host header to the target URL
• FOLLOW_REDIRECTS: boolean. Default: true - specify whether you want to follow redirects
• HTTP_PORT: number. Default: 80 - specify the port to run this on
• MIME_TYPES: string. Default: text/html - specify the mime types that will have the recorder <script> added. Use comma separated values
• SECURE_PROXY: boolean. Default: true - verifies the SSL certificates
