⁠folaris is a simple web app with an embedded Powershell

It's intended to accept calls from a Powershell client using folarisCli Powershell module https://github.com/brunoyin/folaris/tree/master/folaris-cli⁠.

⁠How to use folaris

⁠folaris exposes 2 services:

• /run: execute Powershell cmdlets, shell utilities and Powershell scripts, returns execution result in serialized CliXml, folarisCli does the deserialization back to PSObject
• /upload: allows file upload

Step 1. deploy to Kubernetes or use docker run to start the service

⁠use the variables to override the default values

docker run -d --name folaris -e FOLARIS_PORT=9876 -p 9876:9876
-e FOLARIS_USER=folaris
-e FOLARIS_PASSWD=folaris
brunoyin/folaris

Step 2.

Get folarisCli from https://github.com/brunoyin/folaris.gi⁠ Run Powershell

• Import-Module [folaris repo local clone]\folaris-cli\folarisCli.psd1
• Invoke-RemotePwsh -run_url http://[docker-host-ip]:9876/run -cmd '$PSVersionTable'
• or: '$PSVersionTable' |f -run_url http://[docker-host-ip]:9876/run
