This is the official JGI BBTools docker container. Its updated regularly for every BBTools release.

BBTools is a set of free Bioinformatics tools written in JAVA that does:

• assembly (tadpole.sh)
• alignment (bbmap.sh, seal.sh)
• identification vs nt, refseq databases (sendsketch.sh)
• fastq filtering (bbduk.sh)
• format changing for fastq, sam, fasta (reformat.sh)
• stats for fastq, fasta files (stats.sh)
• gene and variant caller (callgenes.sh, callvariants.sh)
