bskjerven/dmrcate repository overview

This is a tidyverse-based (R version 3.5) image that adds the following R packages and their dependencies:

• DMRcate
• missMethyl
• IlluminaHumanMethylation450kanno.ilmn12.hg19
• RnBeads

To create a web-based RStudio server from this container you can run the following:

docker run -d --rm -v /path/to/data:/home/rstudio/data -p 8787:8787 bskjerven/dmrcate

The volume mounts (-v) need to be specified by the user. The first part is the directory on the host that you'd like to mount into the container. The second part is the path inside the container; in this case it's at /home/rstudio/data. The port option (-p 8787:8787) maps a host port into the container, so it's accessible via a web browser (RStudio defaults to port 8787).

The default username and password for RStudio is rstudio, but this can be changed by adding environment variable flags in the docker run command:

docker run -d --rm -v /path/to/data:/home/rstudio/data -e USER=bskjerven -e PASSWORD=1234abcd -p 8787:8787 bskjerven/dmrcate
