bugthing/cdripper repository overview

This container makes it simple to rip a load of audio CDs you want converted to mp3.

To use this container, first identify

• Where you want to place the mp3 files (eg. /storage/mp3s)
• What device your cd is in linux (typically /dev/sr0)

You can then start the container like so:

docker run -it --rm --privileged -v /storage/mp3s:/output --device=/dev/sr0:/dev/sr0 bugthing/cdripper

(i needed --privileged to consistently be able to eject the cd tray)

1. It should then spit out the CD tray with the expectation you insert an audio CD.
2. It will then rip the audio placing the output files in the volume mount at /output.
3. When complete it will spit out the CD tray to repeat the process.
