First, run hostname to find the domain through which you can access the container via port mapping.
docker run --rm -p 8888:8787 -e PASSWORD=password -v $(pwd):/home/rstudio/mount_dir -e USERID=$UID bushlab/rstudio:v1.0
This will initialize RStudio, and will map your domain's port 8888 to the container's port 8888, which can be accessed at the following url:
`hostname`:8888
Replace hostname with your hostname command's output.
Username: rstudio
Password: password
The above command mounts your present working directory on the host system to /home/rstudio/mount_dir.
If you are working with a directory that is accessible to a group instead of to just a single person, clone the directory and mount the cloned directory, since the above command changes the permissions of the mounted directory to only have permissions for the user running the docker run command.
