busshi/cloudflare_ddns_cron repository overview

CLOUDFLARE_DDNS

DNS records updater

Update multiple records in a row… Available on Github

Description:

Automate tool to update DNS records in Cloudflare API in case your IP has changed. Running inside a docker container makes it easier to leave it working alone with other services on your network...

Notes:

  • Create a .env file according the env.sample, just change the token with yours. You can get one from here
  • Change the domains to yours in the updater script or simply edit the variable $SUBDOMAINS in the .env file and copy it in the appropriated folder (1min / 30min / hourly / ...)
  • The cron job is scheduled every hour but you can change it. Just edit the entrypoint.sh script and put your script in the appropriated folder in the cron_jobs directory.
  • Check the github page to see the script and the .env sample

Usage:

  • docker pull busshi/cloudflare_ddns_cron:latest to pull the latest image
  • docker run busshi/cloudflare_ddns_cron:latest to launch the container.

docker-compose-sample

You can also use docker-compose to run it like this:

version: '3'

services:
  cron:
    image: busshi/cloudflare_ddns_cron:latest
    container_name: cloudflare_ddns_cron

    volumes:
      - ./cron_tasks/1min:/etc/periodic/1min/:ro
      - ./cron_tasks/30min:/etc/periodic/30min/:ro
      - ./cron_tasks/hourly:/etc/periodic/hourly/:ro
      - ./entrypoint.sh:/usr/local/entrypoint.sh:ro

    environment:
      - TOKEN=${TOKEN}
      - EMAIL=${EMAIL}
      - SUBDOMAINS=${SUBDOMAINS}

    restart: unless-stopped
