buzzable/awscli repository overview

This is a created container using super small Alpine Linux for aws cli.

examples..

docker run buzzable/awscli aws --version

docker run buzzable/awscli aws s3 mb s3://testbucket

docker run -v ./:/localdir buzzable/awscli aws s3 sync ./localdir s3://testbucket

so simple.....

STEP 1 Create a directory on your local machine mkdir .aws

STEP 2 cd .aws

touch config
touch credentials

edit config file to look like this

[default]

output = json

region = emea

Now edit the credentials file to look like this below add your own AWS s3 key and Secret

[default]

aws_access_key_id = AWS KEY GOES HERE

aws_secret_access_key = YOUR SECRET AWS KEY GOES HERE

Save both files.

Rock and role. your ready to go
