⁠What is the Layer7 API Developer Portal Migration Utility?

As part of the Docker Swarm installation option for Layer7 API Developer Portal, the internal database can be created using either PostgreSQL or MySQL. With the deprecation of support for PostgreSQL, the Layer7 Portal Migration Utility is a tool for you to migrate data from PostgreSQL to MySQL.

⁠Supported Versions

The Layer7 Portal Migration Utility supports database migration for API Developer Portal 4.5 and 5.0. If you are running API Portal on an older version, upgrade to one of these versions before performing a database migration.

Changes & Issues resolved:

• Added breakpoints to support investigation of a migration
• Added additional validation for the migration of API keys
• Improve handling for migrating tables with large data sets
• Included JSON output files for data export and data imported to ease the troubleshooting of data migration

Portal Migration Utility 5.0.cr1 [February 18 2021]
