⁠activemq5 with postgres db

Custom Docker image which downloads a specified ActiveMQ version and connect against a PostgreSQL database.

⁠Build and run the Docker image

• Build the image

docker build -t activemq .

• Run with docker-compose file, which starts postgres, amq server and adminer (DB webclient)

docker-compose -up d

• Run with already started postgres db

docker run --rm -d -p 8161:8161 -p 61616:61616 -p 11099:11099 activemq 

• Check your localhost at port 8161
• Check your localhost at jmx port 11099

http://localhost:8161
