⁠SHOUTcast DNAS Server 2 for Second Life & OpenSimulator

A lightweight, self-hosted Docker container for running a SHOUTcast DNAS Server 2, optimized for streaming audio streams inside virtual world platforms such as Second Life and OpenSimulator.

⁠Included Files

• docker-compose.yml - Docker Compose orchestration file.
• sc_serv.conf - SHOUTcast server configuration file.

⁠⚙️ Configuration

Before launching the container, create or customize the sc_serv.conf file and change the default passwords.

Ensures the container automatically restarts after a crash or host reboot.

⁠▶️ Quick Start

Create the project directory:

mkdir shoutcast
cd shoutcast

Create your configuration file:

nano sc_serv.conf

Copy the example configuration above and save the file.

Create docker-compose.yml:

Start the container:

docker compose up -d
