A Node.js image based on mhart/alpine-node:4.4.7 with additional libraries added for Grunt such as:

• python
• make
• g++
• git

These are pre-installed to /var/www/node_modules:

• react
• react-dom
• react-router
• react-router-redux
• redux
• redux-thunk
• babel (plus babel presets for React and es2015)

Additionally, these common Grunt related node modules will be installed to /var/www/node_modules:

• grunt
• grunt-sass
• grunt-contrib-clean
• grunt-contrib-concat
• grunt-contrib-copy
• grunt-contrib-cssmin
• grunt-contrib-uglify
• grunt-contrib-watch

And many more!

For this to work properly with your project, add this to the top of your Dockerfile:

# set base image to our desired version of Node
FROM camsjams/nodejs-isomorphic-grr

# copy files from this directory '.' to '/var/www'
ADD . /var/www

# set cwd for RUN and CMD
WORKDIR /var/www
