AutoBrain is the AI-powered companion for car enthusiasts - track vehicles, maintenance, fuel, diagnostics, parts and resale value, with an AI co-pilot that learns every vehicle.

This image runs the AutoBrain backend API (FastAPI + SQLAlchemy + Celery + MinIO). It powers vehicle management, maintenance and fuel tracking, AI diagnostics, receipt OCR, parts inventory, resale valuation, analytics, MFA and role-based access. Data is stored in PostgreSQL; uploads go to MinIO; async work runs via Celery.

⁠Quick start

docker compose -f docker-compose.prod.yml up -d backend

Requires PostgreSQL, Redis and MinIO (see the full docker-compose.prod.yml). Configuration is via environment variables - see .env.example in the repo.

The demo role is read-only and AI-disabled; the valuation endpoint returns a sample response so the UI can be demonstrated without AI.
