This is a docker image for MADPToolbox. MultiAgentDecisionProcess (MADP) is a toolbox for scientific research in decision-theoretic planning and learning in multiagent systems. It is designed to be rather general, but most effort has been put in planning algorithms for discrete Dec-POMDPs.
Due to the age of the program, current Linux computers often struggle to meet MADPToolbox's compilation requirements (such as outdated gcc versions), and compiling the program is extremely time-consuming. Using the Docker image I built can save time on preparing the environment and compiling.
Use GMAA solver as an example.
The original command:
src/solvers/GMAA [your-pgmx-file] -h [the-desired-horizon]
Using docker:
mkdir -p madp-result/GMAA
docker run --rm -v [your-pgmx-file]:/task.pgmx -v ./madp-result:/root/.madp/results/ caomingjun/madp src/solvers/GMAA /task.pgmx -h [the-desired-horizon]
You can find outputs in madp-result/GMAA.
You can also access the terminal by:
docker run -it --rm caomingjun/madp
If you use it this way, please make sure that you have mapped the directories and files you need, including the pgmx file and output folder.
Thanks @OrangeX4 and Mexii for exploring the compilation requirements of MADP, which saved me a lot of time spent on exploration.
