If you are running SElinux, you might want to turn off the watchdog in order to give the container access to your Xserver and display the GUI

sudo setenforce permissive

on X, you will also want to allow connection to the X display

xhost +local:docker

To execute, run

docker run -it  --env DISPLAY=unix$DISPLAY -v $HOME/.Xauthority:/root/.Xauthority -v /tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix castleard/testbeam-daq:latest
