catsarebetterthendogs/winet-extractor repository overview

WiNet Extractor - ARM64 Build 🐱

Cat is very noob @ this but this is for arm64 like rpi and rock pi so you can run the addon WiNet Extractor from https://github.com/NickStallman/home-assistant-repo in docker compose/portainer on arm64 and get data from your Sungrow inverter to MQTT server and in to Home Assistant.

Compose file:

version: '3'
services:
  winet-extractor:
    image: catsarebetterthendogs/winet-extractor:arm64
    container_name: winet-extractor
    restart: unless-stopped
    environment:
      - WINET_HOST=192.168.1.100
      - MQTT_URL=mqtt://username:[email protected]
      - WINET_USERNAME=admin
      - WINET_PASSWORD=pw8888
      - POLL_INTERVAL=10
    network_mode: bridge

What to change:

  • WINET_HOST - Your WiNet dongle IP address (find it in your router)
  • MQTT_URL - Your MQTT details
  • WINET_USERNAME - WiNet login username (default: admin)
  • WINET_PASSWORD - WiNet login password (default: pw8888)
  • POLL_INTERVAL - How often it shoud get new data in seconds (default: 10)

If you changed the password in WiNet then you need to change it in compose also, and I use username user instead of admin (don’t know if you need to).

If it works, great! If not, blame the cat.

Made with confusion and determination by someone who googled "how to docker" 47 times. 🐾
