⁠Description

This image contains the deployment environment for the Cancer Terms API⁠. The deployment procedure may look something like this:

• Clone the apc/common resources repositories git clone https://github.com/CBIIT/nci-webtools-cancer-terms-api.git /tmp/cancer_terms git clone https://github.com/CBIIT/nci-analysis-tools-web-presence.git /tmp/web_presence

• Copy the application files to a local deployment directory sudo mkdir -p /local/CancerTerms/app /local/CancerTerms/logs sudo chown -R `id -u`:`id -g` /local/CancerTerms cp -r /tmp/cancer_terms/* /local/CancerTerms/app/ cp -r /tmp/web_presence/common /local/CancerTerms/app/

• Pull the latest APC image and start a new container docker pull cbiitss/cancerterms

docker run \
  --detach \
  --name apc \
  --publish 8000:8000 \
  --user `id -u`:`id -g` \
  --volume /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro \
  --volume /local/CancerTerms/:/deploy/ \
  cbiitss/cancerterms

The cancer terms API is now running on localhost:8000
